“Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people. He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David, just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago.”
-Luke 1:68-70 NLT
If you love cozy breakfast recipes without requiring a lot of work, these Chai Pecan Overnight Oat Parfaits are such a good one to keep on hand. They’re creamy, lightly spiced, layered with texture, and packed with all the warm, comforting flavors you want in a breakfast that still feels simple and nourishing.
The oats are infused with chai tea, which gives them that warm blend of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and spice flavor that instantly makes everything taste cozy. Once chilled for a few hours or overnight, they become thick, creamy, and perfect for layering with yogurt and sweet maple chai pecans. It’s the kind of breakfast that feels a little café-inspired but is easy enough to prep ahead and enjoy throughout the week!
What I love most about this recipe is how balanced it is. You get the creaminess from the oats and yogurt, a little crunch from the pecans, sweetness from maple syrup, and all those warm chai flavors from the spices.
If you already have chai tea bags at home, this is such a fun way to use them outside of just making a warm drink. It turns a simple overnight oat recipe into something that feels seasonal, cozy, and a little indulgent while still being easy to make ahead.
Whether you’re looking for a comforting breakfast or just want to switch up your morning routine with something flavorful and satisfying, these parfaits are such a delicious option!
