This Barbecue Chicken Pasta Salad is the perfect to bring to a cookout with a blend blend of smoky chicken and fresh vegetables. Prepare your barbecue chicken with your favorite barbecue sauce and seasonings, charing it up on the grill or bake it in the oven. Tossed with fusilli pasta, colorful veggies, and a cool, tangy ranch-style dressing.
This pasta salad is the ultimate crowd-pleasing side or hearty main dish. It’s one of my backyard barbecue favorites and I hope it’ll become one of ours too! Make this pasta salad that’s full of flavor, color, and freshness.

Barbecue Chicken Pasta Salad

- Clean your chicken thighs and brush them in barbecue sauce. Cook the chicken thighs on the grill or bake in oven on a sheet pan.
- When barbecue chicken is fully cooked, let cool completely. Chop into bite size cubes and set aside.
- For the pasta salad, add the cooked and chilled pasta to a large bowl. Dice your red onion and cucumbers, quarter your cherry tomatoes, and shuck your corn. Add your vegetables to the bowl. Chop the chives, add to the bowl, and mix all ingredients together.
- Add barbecue chicken cubes to the bowl and mix.
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, sweet relish, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Add dressing to the pasta salad and toss until evenly combined. Add more barbecue sauce to your taste and serve chilled.
