“What can we bring to the Lord? Should we bring him burnt offerings? Should we bow before God Most High with offerings of yearling calves? Should we offer him thousands of rams and ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Should we sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins?
No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
-Micah 6:6-8 NLT
Peaches have been on my mind a lot this summer. And for this recipe I’m bringing together juicy peaches, salty prosciutto, creamy feta, and fresh greens. This Peach Prosciutto Feta Flatbread with Hot Honey has the best balance of seasonal ingredients on a crisp, homemade flatbread. Whether you’re hosting friends for brunch, serving appetizers on the patio, or looking for an easy weeknight dinner, this flatbread is guaranteed to impress!
One of my favorite things about summer cooking is letting fresh produce do the heavy lifting. When peaches are perfectly ripe, they don’t need much to shine. Their natural sweetness pairs beautifully with the savory richness of prosciutto, while the tangy feta adds just the right amount of creaminess to balance every bite. It’s a combination that’s simple, yet full of flavor.
The homemade flatbread is extremely easy to make and doesn’t even require a stand mixer. Just your basic ingredients of yeast, flour, salt, water, and olive oil will eventually turn into a crisp golden crust and a soft, chewy interior. And don’t be intimidated if you have to knead your flatbread dough by hand!
Once it comes out of the oven, the finishing touches make this recipe truly special. Fresh micro-greens or sprouts adds brightness and slight peppery to the dish, and crumbly feta cheese adds more tang. Then comes my favorite part: a generous drizzle of hot honey. The sweet heat ties every ingredient together, adding just enough spice to complement the sweetness of the peaches without overpowering them.
